Location

The Gîte de Kerstrat is located in Lanildut at the extreme tip of Finistère (Brittany) and is at about 25 km northwest of Brest.

Below are different driving directions to get to the gîte depending on your point of origin: the N12 expressway, the N165 expressway, the Brest Bretagne airport or the SNCF railway station In Brest.
These routes cross each other at the Ty-Colo roundabout near Saint-Renan, and afterward you have just to take the common road to the gîte.

From the N12 expressway towards Brest to the Ty-Colo roundabout      (13 km).

Leave the N12 at the Gouesnou/Lannilis (D788) exit . Near Gouesnou, at the first roundabout take the D13, at the second roundabout take the D67, then head for Saint-Renan. Drive about 11 km until you arrive at the Ty-Colo roundabout.

From the N165 expressway towards Brest to the Ty-Colo roundabout    (19 km).

After the huge bridge (Pont de l'Iroise), follow the road towards Le Relecq-Kerhuon. Enter the roundabout in Le Relecq-Kerhuon, then take the N265 and stay on for about 5.5 km (several roundabouts to cross). Afterward, choose the D267 towards Gouesnou/Saint-Renan. Near Gouesnou, at the first roundabout take the D67, at the second roundabout the D13 and at the third roundabout go back onto the D67 towards Saint-Renan. Drive about 11 km until you arrive at the Ty-Colo roundabout.

From the Brest Bretagne airport (Guipavas) to the Ty-Colo roundabout  (16 km).

Leave the airport and turn right into the D67 towards Gouesnou/Saint-Renan. Near Gouesnou, at the first roundabout take the D13 and at the second roundabout take the D67 towards Saint-Renan. Drive about 11 km until you arrive at the Ty-Colo roundabout.

From the Brest SNCF (TGV) rail station towards the Ty-Colo roundabout  (11 km).

Leave the car park to turn right into Avenue Georges-Clémenceau and stay on until you see the Cinema Liberté (on the left). After you have passed the cinema, keep right and leave at the first exit into Rue Duquesne, then continue several meters on the left onto Avenue du Maréchal-Foch and keep left towards the Place Albert-1er roundabout. Now, take the D5 and cross the bridge (Pont Robert-Schuman), continue onto the Avenue Victor-le-Gorgeu (D5) to leave Brest towards Guilers/Saint-Renan (D5). Drive about 6.5 km until you arrive at the Ty-Colo roundabout.

From the Ty-Colo roundabout to the Gîte de Kerstrat (14km).

At the Ty-Colo roundabout take the Lanildut direction (D105). After about 1.2 km take the D68. Now, you are entering Saint-Renan. At the roundabout, choose the third exit to continue onto Rue Joseph-Le-Velly and at the second street turn right towards Lanildut (D27). Drive about 8 km onto the D27 to Lanildut. Once you are in Lanildut, look on the right for the sign Kerstrat (Gîte rural) and turn into the narrow road, and then, after a few meters, you have arrived at your destination.
